To become a Wall Street organization, the organization doesn’t really have to be located in Wall Street. Being a Wall Street Company simply means that it is taking financial services from Wall Street. Nowadays Wall Street firms are either related to financial services or law firms. They offer services for mid-scale companies to large scale companies such as General Electric, Microsoft etc. When it comes to annual financial reports of famous organizations, there are dedicated financial analysts who keenly go through these and report analysis to the general public and especially for the current and future shareholders of the particular company. Therefore the business organizations deal with these analysts very carefully. One wrong movement made by an organization may result in a negative analysis and eventually may lead to a loss of share value.

Headquarters of many of the famous financial institutions are located in Wall Street including New York Stock Exchange (NYES), National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotient (NASDAQ), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and New York Board Of Trade (NYBOT).
